You don't need a shop, a website or followers. If you've ever sold something on a WhatsApp status, you can sell on GrabAm, with one big difference: you know the buyer has really paid before you hand anything over.
Why casual sellers use GrabAm
- 0% seller fees. You keep the full price you sell for.
- No time-wasters. The buyer pays first and the money is held, so you're not keeping things for people who never show up.
- No fake payment screenshots. The app tells you when a payment is real. You never have to trust a screenshot.
- Bargaining built in. Buyers send offers; you accept, decline or counter in the chat.
- Paid straight to MoMo. MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money.
How it works
- List it with at least 2 photos, a price, your pickup point and the times you're free.
- A buyer pays. Confirm within 12 hours that you still have it.
- Hand it over at the time they picked, after a quick packing photo.
- Get paid to your mobile money once they confirm they have it.
Make things to order?
Bakers, knitters, tailors, crafters: turn on Preorder. Choose when it'll be ready (3, 7, 14, 21 or 30 days), and buyers pay in full before you start. You mark it ready with a photo, then they pick a pickup time. If they never collect, you can be paid 15% for your work.
Common questions
How much does it cost to sell on GrabAm?
Nothing. Sellers pay 0% commission and listing is free. The buyer pays a small platform fee at checkout.
When do I get paid?
Once the buyer confirms they have the item and the 1-hour reporting window passes, the money goes to your mobile money account. If the buyer goes quiet after you've handed it over, the order confirms itself after 5 days.
Can I sell things I make to order?
Yes. Turn on Preorder, choose a ready-within time from 3 to 30 days, and the buyer pays in full up front. The money is held until they collect, and if they don't collect a finished preorder, you can be paid 15% for your work.
Do I need a shop or a business registration?
No. GrabAm is built for everyday sellers: clearing out your wardrobe, selling a phone, or running a small side hustle.
